Infrastructure Development Programme

Most people in Southern African rural, informal or peri urban areas live under deplorable conditions with very poor or no infrastructure at all. In fact, such communities are the major contributors of street children and adults as well as crime. Besides poor housing, sanitation, water, hygiene and roads, these communities also lack recreational facilities and that results in especially young people engaging in bad activities leading to high crime rates, poverty and high disease transmission amongst other retrogressive developments.

Understanding the necessity of good infrastructure as a basic need and that it is a human right, we designed this programme to address infrastructural needs for underdeveloped and needy communities especially in rural areas, informal and peri – urban settlements.

Our services, projects and activities include needs analysis & assessment, construction and / or upgrading of housing infrastructure for the underprivileged including the aged, OVCs, child headed homes, under privileged women, mentally challenged, people living with disabilities, underprivileged youth and other socio-economically challenged people regardless of race, gender, age or faith inclination.

We also do Disaster and risk management, facility level assessment and improvement, water facility construction/upgrade/rehabilitation, sensitization on good care practices, training, resource mobilization and resource management.

Construction, upgrade and refurbishment of roads, bridges, health care facilities, school infrastructure, recreational facilities as well as drain and water way installation and maintenance are also part of our service offering.
